How Credits Work

Credits are used for third-party AI models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.). Our default AI is always free for Plus subscribers in the app. Not included in API — API requests always use credits.

Credit Packs

Need more credits? Purchase additional packs starting at $10 for 700 credits. Larger packs offer better per-credit pricing.

Credit Costs by Model

Check the current model selector and estimate before sending. Credit use depends on the model, input, output, and options such as image size, batch size, or video duration. Static examples are not a quote for your next request.

  1. Default-model access included with Plus applies to in-app chat; other eligible models and tools use credits.
  2. Work uses credits as it runs; media generation within a task can add costs.
  3. Image, video, music, 3D, and avatar costs depend on the selected model and options. Review the displayed estimate.
  4. Developer text requests settle from actual reliable usage in fractional credits. A temporary authorization hold is not the final charge.
  5. Voice Mode displays its credit requirements when you start a session.

What is Work mode, and is it available on Free?

Work mode is Gab AI's agentic workspace for multi-step jobs. It can plan, research, work with files and tools, keep running in the cloud, and deliver finished artifacts. Work mode requires Plus or Plus Premium and uses credits while it runs.

What is Plus Premium?

Plus Premium is a web-only plan for businesses and power users: everything in Plus, plus 12,000 monthly credits (6× Plus), a 50,000 requests/day API limit, and priority email support. $99/month or $999/year.

Are default model messages free in the API?

No. Not included in API. Every API request draws from your credit balance, including Arya. Free default model messages apply to in-app chat only.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Are there refunds?

Due to computational costs, all purchases are final. See our refund policy for limited exceptions.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Plus subscribers keep chatting with our default AI for free in the app. Work mode and other credit-using models pause until monthly credits refresh or you buy a credit pack. Free members can purchase credits for eligible chat and creative tools or upgrade to Plus to unlock Work mode.

Do credits expire?

Monthly credits reset each billing cycle. Purchased credit packs never expire.
